BUDDING bakers from across the town are being encouraged to take part in a special cake making competition.
Chesham4Fairtrade is celebrating its fifth birthday this month and is inviting people to take to their ovens and bake the best cake using Fairtrade ingredients.
A NEW club for enterprising business people is being launched next month.
The Business Winners Breakfast will be held at Chartridge Conference Centre on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month along with workshops and the chance to network.
Free taster sessions will be held on March 23 or 24 with an annual membership fee including the breakfast, workshops and two hours business coaching upon joining.

AN OPEN forum is set to take place this month for people to find out about the work being done to preserve the River Chess.
The meeting will be held by the Impress the Chess group at the town hall on Thursday, March 18 at 7pm.
Admission is free and the evening will include an update on the Trout in the Classroom project at Waterside School along with a presentation about the new River Chess Association.
THE next comedy night at Chesham United Football Club will be held on March 26.
The line-up will include Toju, Craig Murray, Hannah Warman and James Redmond with warm-up act The Antipoet playing at set.
Tickets cost £10 in advance and £12 on the door with the entertainment starting at 8pm.

FASHION collections from local designers will be paraded along the catwalk for a special show at The Elgiva next month.
Designs from People Treem Traidcraft, Komodo and Five G will all be paraded at the Fairtrade Fashion Challenge Show on March 4.
A QUIZ night will be held at Chesham United Football Club to raise money towards the British Legion Rebuild Fund.
The event will be held from 8.30pm on Saturday, February 20, at the club, in Amy Lane.

YOUNG and old people are being invited to take part in a new initiative to teach people how to make, edit, and produce short films.
Bucks County Council Youth Services are appealing to 13-19 year-old's and anyone over 50 to take part in the scheme which will start at Chesham Youth Centre on February 6.
Marion Clayton, BCC cabinet member for learning and achievement, said: "This is a great opportunity to bring generations together and for each to learn invaluable skills from one another."
A PROGRAMME encouraging children to be healthy and active is being rolled out in the town for the fifth time.
MEND is a free 10-week, after-school weight management course where overweight and obese children learn how to eat properly.
A QUIZ night will be held at St Mary's Church to raise money for Chesham Museum.
Tickets for the event, on March 13, cost £12 and include a fish and chip supper.
