CLASSIC sports day games were played at a special family day at Chesham Leisure Centre on Sunday.
The centre, in White Hill, basked in the sunshine and offered use of their gym and swimming facilities for just £1.
Meanwhile, youngsters and adults alike took part in three-legged races, tug of war, egg and spoon race, sack race, and assault course before a barbecue kept everyone recharged.
Basingstoke - 4th April:
A fine, sunny day saw several of the younger Chiltern athletes open their account for the 2009 season. Connie Lewis posted a solid 2.35.0 in the Under 13 800m which put her second on the day and 11th in the national rankings.
