What's on in Chesham this weekend

Posted by Camilla Goodman on Oct 26, 12 01:43 PM in What's On

THERE is plenty going on to keep you and your family entertained this weekend in Chesham.

Music lovers will not want to miss an event happening tomorrow (Oct 27) at The Elgiva, in St Mary's Way.
The theatre will be transformed into the home of the fourth Buxfest, to accommodate eight bands, plus DJs and acoustic artists.
The bands will be in the main theatre, and the foyer will be home to DJs and acoustic artists. For most of the time, there will be performances on both stages, but once headliner Mask of Judas take to the stage, the spotlight will be all theirs.
"Buxfest is going to be absolutely brilliant," organiser Jonathan Ayres says. "We're trying to cater for all sorts, not just the metal and alternative kids. We've got some really talented DJs and musicians playing.
"There are some very talented and musical people around here so this is about making the most of that."
Tickets cost £8 and are available online via www.elgiva.com or by calling 01494 582 900. Doors open at 4pm.

Train enthusiasts will not want to miss a model railway show this weekend.
Chiltern Hills Vintage Train Group is holding its annual show on Saturday, October 27 from 10am to 5pm, at Chesham Grammar School, in White Hill, Chesham.
For more information, call Nigel Clark on 01494 782 347.

Book lovers might want to pop down to Chesham Museum, in Market Square on Saturday from 9am for its book sale.

Also in Market Square is the monthly Local Produce Market from 10am to 2pm. There will be a variety of local produce on offer, including ornamental plants, candles, eggs, jewellery, bread, honey, pickles, curry sauces, oils, jams, fruit'n'veg, water buffalo, cakes and much more.

There is plenty of spooky things happening this weekend with pumpkin carving at Sainsbury's in Elgiva Lane, between 10am and 12pm and 2pm and 4pm on Saturday, medium Sandra Mitchell is coming to The Jolly Sportsman in Eskdale Avenue on Saturday (Oct 27) at 8pm as part of its Halloween event with tickets priced at £5 and The Gamekeepers Lodge in Bellingdon Road, is holding a fancy dress Halloween party on Saturday from 8.30pm where there will be karaoke, a disco, food and a pot of gold raffle.

A fascinating discussion is worth comment.
I do believe that you should publish more on this topic, it
might not be a taboo subject but generally people don't speak about such subjects. To the next! All the best!!
