What's on in Chesham this weekend
MUSIC lovers in Chesham are in for a treat this weekend.
The weekend kicks off with Lowndes Park being transformed into a dancefloor ready to host Spin in the Park on Saturday (Sep 22) between 1pm and 5pm.
The free event, organised by Rafe's Place and Friends of Lowndes Park, will see five Djs, including Elis, Jack Da Beat, BluC, Dr. Doctor and JamWarn take to the stage.
The event follows last Saturday's successful Vintage Celebration, which was put on by the same organisers.
On Saturday night Chesham born band Tinlin take to the stage at The Elgiva, in St Mary's Way, Chesham, along with some special guests, for a show to help celebrate the release of their brand new album Shade of the Shadows.
The album was recorded just up the road at KMD studios by Gary Bull before the band embarked on a six month UK tour as special guests for the legendary singer and songwriter Paul Carrack.
The show will take place from 7pm until 11pm and tickets are priced at £8.
For tickets call 01494 582 900 or visit www.elgiva.com.
Chesham's Local Produce Market will also return to Market Square this Saturday from 10am to 2pm
There will be a variety of local produce on offer including ornamental plants, candles, eggs, jewellery, bread, honey, pickles, curry sauces, oils, jams, fruit and veg, water buffalo, cakes and much more.
To support this the Chesham Chamber of Trade and Commerce and Chiltern District Council have organised free parking all day Saturday in Water Meadow and Albany car parks.
