Bucks New Uni one of country's best

BUCKS New University was in the top ten most popular universities in the UK after a 54 per cent increase in applications last year.
Figures released by the Universities & College Admissions Service (UCAS) said the rise came in people wanting to do full-time undergraduate courses with a 49 per cent increase in thos applying for full-time undergraduate honours degrees.
Prof Ruth Farwell, university vice chancellor, said "During difficult economic times and during a period of great transition it is a testament to the hard work and dedication of all at the University that we have kept our application numbers admirably high."

Your headline 'Bucks New Uni one of country's best' is totally wrong. The number of applications is higher, that's all. Most of the extra applicants are probably bogus asylum seekers or foreign criminals trying to stay here illegally under Nu Libore. I see nothing to celebrate about this at all.

It is a daft "university" peddling MickeyMouse degrees if you cannot get into any other University go there they will take anyone who is breathing
