Security priority warning for residents

Posted by Greg Burns on Jan 19, 10 09:41 AM in Crime

RESIDENTS have been told to put security at the top of their new year's resolution list by marking their property.
Bucks Community Safety Partnership say property marking is a great way to help recover stolen goods with people able to record their details for free on a national database.

Deputy Leader Bill Chapple said:"It takes just a few minutes to mark items but it can save a lot of heartache.
"If it is expensive, it is desirable, so get it marked, and never leave it on display in your car or near a window. No thief wants property that is so easily identifiable that it is just too hot for them to handle."
Pick up your free property markng kit at Chiltern District Council or Bucks County Council offices.
