Post Office set for February re-opening

A POST Office is set to re-open in Chesham High Street by the end of February, the company has confirmed.
Anger has surrounded the closure of the site in November last year with representatives of Royal Mail failing to attend a public meeting on Wednesday.
But they have contacted town mayor Justine Fulford to tell her that they are planning to restock the closed site from the week commencing February 22 and with a temporary opening expected by at least March 1.
A second planned public meeting on February 1 to discuss more permanent plans is still set to go ahead.
