Appeal after cyclist accident
A CYCLIST was knocked down and suffered a minor head injury in Chesham with the driver taking the injured man to hospital.
The incident happened at 7.10am on Tuesday, Januay 5, in Chartridge Lane when a dark coloured saloon car pulled out from the junction with Lowndes Avenue and collided with the bicycle.
Police believe the Asian driver, between 45-50 years old and wearing a suit a Bluetooth earpiece, drove the cyclist to Amersham Health Centre where he was treated for minor head injury.
He left without leaving his details and police are keen to speak to him.
PC Kevin Flint, neighbourhood specialist officer, said: "I am very keen to speak to anyone who saw the collision or saw the vehicle prior to the collision.
"I would also like to speak to the driver of the car, and urge him to come forward to help with our investigation."
