Wife of missing man speaks out

THE wife of an Alzheimer's sufferer missing from his Chesham home has pleaded for him to come home.
Paul Maurice, 66, was last seen cycling along Lye Green Road at 3.30pm on Monday (28/9) wearing light coloured shorts, a brown t-shirt, grey sweatshirt, and brown trainers.
He requires medication to regulate his Alzheimer's and his wife Isobel has issued a heartfelt message to her husband.

She said: "We have been through this together and if Paul becomes confused, he will tell someone his name and his home telephone number.
"If Paul can hear this message, I want you to come home. Everyone is extremely concerned for you, your friends and family are all looking for you."
Superintendent George Wrigley said: "We are concerned Mr Maurice may have got lost while out cycling and are carrying out searches of all surrounding cycle areas and woodland.
"I would urge anyone who may have seen or come across an elderly man, who may be confused, in the area to contact us immediately.
"We ask that land owner, dog walkers, horse riders consider that Paul Maurice may or may not be with his black Carrera crossfire bike, this maybe locked up and he maybe walking or sitting at a rural location."
Anyone with any information should call police on 0845 8 505 505 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

We'd like to hear from you.
