THE work of late Amersham artist Laurence T Peace will be displayed and available to buy at a special exhibition at The Elgiva next month.
An accomplished British landscape arts in oils and watercolours, Peace widely exhibited in the UK and abroad but always loved to paint in the district he moved to in 1978.
His friend and art dealer Royston Fisher, of Chartridge Lane, Chesham, is bringing the seventh and final exhibition of his work to the theatre between August 21 and Monday, August 31 with the help of the artists widow, Catherine Orton.

Mr Fisher said: "He was obsessed with detail and how the light made scenes come alive and quite a lot of his paintings were in Bucks.
"He would be very pleased to know his paintings were being shown in the Chilterns. There will be some very lovely pieces on show and there is a real wide variety of pieces."
Peace saw his work chosen to represent the best of contemporary British painting at the British Artists Exhibition in Melbourne, Australian, and at the Lord Mayor's Show in 1978.
He lost a battle with Leukaemia in 1993 aged 59.
The exhibition opens on August 21 between 7.30pm-9.30pm, on August 22 between 10am and 5pm and on August 23 between 10am and 4pm.
The show will resume on August 30 between 10am-4pm and will end on Bank Holiday Monday between 10am-4pm.
