£690,000 to be saved by council recruitment scheme
A NEW recruitment service has been launched by Bucks County Council in a bid to save themselves £690,000 in a year.
The service, in conjunction with Hays consultants, will make it easier for people to apply for jobs with the local authority.
Councillor Frank Downes, BCC cabinet member for resources, said: "This is an important milestone for us and our opportunity to demonstrate we can work together to attract high quality staff to benefit local services, while being cost-effective at the same time."
