Chesham's musical talents release CD
CHESHAM Fairtrade and Shed@ThePark have teamed up to launch a new CD to help celebrate both of their birthday's this month.
Priced at £2.99, tracks from the CD will be performed in the town, including a Fairtrade-themed song called Sow, throughout July.
On Saturday at 12pm the theatre group will be performing outside the United Reformed Church, in Chesham Broadway, before playing at the Drawingroom between 5pm and 6pm.
On Friday, July 17 they will be playing at Cafe Africa, in Chesham Road, Amersham.
Colin Cartwright, Chairman of Chesham4Fairtrade said: "Chesham's fifth birthday as a Fairtrade town next year happens to coincide with Shed's fifth Birthday too.
"We are very pleased to be working together with Shed to show off the talents of young people locally, who have worked hard to create this wonderful CD.
"We're thrilled that one of the tunes has a Fairtrade theme and would invite people in the town to buy the CD and to support the group at their live performances."
The CD is available from a number of local shops including Perfect Pitch, Oxfam, The Drawingroom, Cafe Africa and JPS Stationers.
