Youngsters hope to raise money for charity through auction
Two girls will be hoping other people's cast-offs will be able to raise money for a charity that helps feed children around the world.
Gabby Waterman, 10 and Sophie Lathom-Sharp, 11 will be holding a Bring and Buy sale to raise money for Mission Nutrition, the latest Blue Peter campaign.
Gabby, who lives in Waterside, came up with the idea and invited friend and neighbour Sophie to help organise it.
She said: "The charity helps children around the world get more nutritious food."
The event will be held at Chesham Open Air Pool on Saturday, March 25 from 11am-2pm and manager Danny Essex is throwing his support behind it.
One of the auction prizes will be a month's subscrition to the gym and there will be a raffle and smoothies as well as the opportunity to buy.
If anyone would like to donate goods, these can be taken to the open air pool at any point up to Saturday morning.
Sophie said: "It will be a fun way of raising money and we need people so come along."
