Joy for Chesham dog owner at Crufts success
A dog lover is celebrating after her pooch sniffed success at Crufts.
Kim Harman's dog 'Loki', a Weimaraner, finished third in his breed class at the show last Saturday.
It was the first time Mrs Harman, 35, a professional dog walker and mother-of-two of Rose Lane, Chesham, had entered a dog in the show.
Thirteen-month-old 'Loki' whose full name is Lassemista Tango, was placed third in the 'special puppy class' and fourth in the 'special junior' class.
Mrs Harman, who owns business Wander Dog with her husband Ben, said: "Because he is a long hair we compete with short haired breeds so we didn't expect to win anything at all as a lot of the time they get put aside."
She added: "It was my first year at Crufts and it was very competitive, but my husband and I wanted to go along for the experience. To have placed with our long haired
Weimaraner is fantastic. It also means we've qualified for next year so my husband has time to perfect his dog brushing technique."
