Pensioner 'stable' after Chesham collision

An 82-year-old Chesham man was taken to hospital with multiple fractures after a traffic collision in Berkhampstead Road yesterday.
The incident happened on the A416 at around 1pm when the man collided with a grey MG ZR in the Chesham road. He was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital where police say he is in a stable condition.
The road was closed for one hour while traffic officers carried out investigation and debris was cleared.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is urged to contact PC Ian Wayland at Amersham police station. PC Wayland can be contacted via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505. If you do not want to talk to the police, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
