The youngsters presented Chesham Library with books for its children's section on Friday after quizzing other classes on their favourite things to read.

Gill Clipsham, a member of the children and family learning team at the library said the children were given a budget of £500 to come up with the goods.
She said: "Before the summer myself and my colleagues went into schools to discus with children and ask them to suggest books that they and their friends would like to read. They went around and got ideas and we gave them a cheque. Some of our reps went along to make sure they were suitable as they have to last and not fall to pieces within the first issue.
"Obviously because they were restricted by the amount of money they had to use maths skills to work things out."
She added: "They have chosen what they would really like to sit down and read and can use for school."
Among the favourite choices picked were books by Jaqueline Wilson, and Bill Bryson as well as ones about 'Hannah Montana' and 'Dr Who'.
Pupil Lucia Anderson, 11, said: "The four year six councillors went to Waterstones in November. We had asked the children in school what books they like. There was a wide selection so we had lots of books to choose from and we bought different books we thought they would like."
The pupils have a permanent reminder of their work as all of their choices have a sticker informing readers that their school chose the book.
