Minnie toasts 101st birthday

Chesham-Palmer-101.jpgA young outlook on life and plenty of friends has kept one woman laughing to her 101st birthday.
Minnie Palmer celebrated her birthday on Monday at her home at The Willow in Chartridge Lane, Chesham.

Other residents joined her in a glass of sherry and a cake made by a friend of home, Mary Stalker.
Manager Lynne Woodstock said: "She is wonderful, she has got the fabulous sense of humour and she makes everyone laugh all the time.
"She is very proud of getting to 101 but I don't think she attributes it to anything. I just think it's her outlook, she is so young and she is not a worrier."
