Friends of Lowndes Park picnic

FRIENDS of Lowndes Park in Chesham are holding a picnic in the park on Sunday, August 31.
Chairman of the group Michael Rowan said: "Already we are building a tradition of an annual park picnic and despite rain, wind, hail and anything else that the typical British summer can throw at us, we are going to do it again this year.
"We felt that we should end the summer by celebrating in the park with a picnic, and by choosing this Sunday we avoid any clash with Ramadan, allowing everyone to join in."

Picnicers will need to bring their own food, wine or soft drinks.
Mr Rowan added: "We hope that it will be an opportunity to meet some more of the Friends and maybe talk a little about what happens next with the park."
The picnic takes place at the mound at the top of the park between 2pm and 4pm.

We'd like to hear from you.
