Amersham's art festival

Thia year's festival of art netted a total of £1,359, which will be put towards Amersham Town Council's charity jubilee account this year.

Amersham charities requiring some funding should contact town clerk Des Knowles at The Court House before Friday, October 10.

Mr Knowles said: "The festival was fabulous, a real win, win, situation for everyone concerned. The artists, who run the festival themselves, benfitted from an occasion to show off their work. We hung a total of 305 pictures during the 10 day festival."a
