Design a leisure area for Benham Close

Asheridge Vale and Lowndes Community Association is inviting residents to come up with a new look for a leisure area in Benham Close.

The association is launching a competition for residents of the close and nearby Dellfield to submit a design for the area of grass at the centre of the close, with prizes on offer for the winner.

Councillor Chris Spruytenburg, chairman of the association said: "We want people to come along to our AGM on Thursday at Wallington House at 7.30pm to discuss the idea and get involved with the project, working with Paradigm Housing which owns the area.

"We would like to hear what you think."

How about.... get rid of all the drug dealers, lay abouts, and chavs and that will make it a nicer place as it is!!!
