MP urges 'fight for doomed offices'

Posted by Graham Spence on Jul 22, 08 02:33 PM in Local Authority

Cheryl Gillan MP visited the post office in Waterside, Chesham, which is earmarked for closure.

Prasann and Minaxi Patel showed Mrs Gillan, the MP for Chesham and Amersham, round their 100-year-old post office and shop, which they have run for 22 years, and introduced her to customers.

Mrs Gillan and Beaconsfield MP Dominic Grieve are urging their constituents to object to the closure proposals.

Cheryl Gillan MP meets Prasann Patel, with his wife Minaxi, owners of the Waterside Post office.
